Q:

A co-worker told me that he started using bioidentical testosterone injections prescribed by his doctor to help with symptoms of male menopause or “andropause.” He told me that he was feeling how I’ve been feeling for the past couple of years – sluggish, worn out and run down. My career has me firing on all cylinders and I don’t get much time to myself, which is why I think that I’m tried all of the time – not my hormones. If my hormone levels are below normal, is hormone therapy necessary? Is this “male menopause” a real medical condition and will balancing the hormones help?
