Who has time to eat right everyday?

I strongly recommend using a daily supplement and vitamins, or nutraceuticals, to make up for missed nutrients. They help augment the unhealthy and nutrient deficient foods that we eat as we frequently fall victim to eating fast food and processed foods.

So what can you do? Supplement with nutreceuticals to offset the risks of unhealthy eating habits. Consider these 10 health tips about supplements:

1. Buy supplements from a company that does testing on their products to make sure there are no toxins or contamination in the product.

2. Choose a supplement brand that makes its own products.  This way the company you are buying from knows what is in the product and why.

3. Be aware that most of the highest quality supplements and nutraceuticals can only be obtained through your physician.

4. Store bought supplement products do not have the quality, freshness or complete balance that you need.

5. Use a pharmaceutical grade supplement because they guarantee to meet certain requirements.

6. Take a daily multivitamin with antioxidants for healthy aging

7. Add an Omega 3 fatty acid supplement to help with inflammation, cholesterol, and brain health.

8. A probiotic is also important to insure proper intestinal balance and digestion

9. Over the counter supplements are not standardized and the ingredient list may not always be complete.

In addition to supplements, eat organic fruits, vegetables and wild game or fish.

Make smart supplement choices for a healthier and happier you.

I was wondering why BodyLogic does not accept Blue Cross Blue Shield. I found that it doesn’t cost them anything to become a provider. It’s only a matter of getting an ID number. I feel that at least for the doctors visits we should be able to file insurance. This is a VERY costly. I don’t feel the average women can spend the amounts that are charged. It’s an excellent service but only the wealthier women are able to go this journey. Why can’t they make it slightly easier for the average income women to get help. If this is the very best for women and men why do they not try to make it possible for all people. They would still get their money because we have to pay up front. But let us try to recoup some of our money. We pay high insurance. Let us try to get some help with insurance.

I agree with Chris, health care is so expensive we can’t even afford to take care of your self the way you want to.

    Chris and Delroy,

We agree with you that the growing healthcare costs in this country are making proper healthcare cost-prohibitive for some people.

I agree I can’t afford the cost of BodyLogic while paying for Health Insurance. I guess only the wealthy can afford bioidentical Hormones.

I have Blue Cross/Blue Shield and they have agreed to pay most of the cost of both the doctor and my meds. It might be that there are differences per state.
