Tara Parker-Pope, author of “The Hormone Decision”, and columnist for the NY Times has a great blog that really does give practical medical advice for her readers. Pope does a fantastic job at sifting through the medical research and reports on real life issues as they relate to health and wellness. Her recent post, “Doctors Talk, But do patients really understand” sheds light on one of the biggest issues facing health care today – the time constraints placed on physicians because of health insurance.
