Medical Mondays – You ask the questions and our highly trained bioidentical hormones experts will post your answer LIVE!
I’ve been dealing with male menopause symptoms for several years now. I initially thought that most of what I was experiencing was just a part of getting older and something that I had to accept. Fatigue, muscle loss, weight gain – you name it. After getting some lab work done, my doctor recommended testosterone replacement therapy. He doesn’t offer this type of therapy, but referred me to a physician who does, but they do not accept my health insurance. Are there times when bioidentical hormones ARE covered by insurance? Does it depend on the provider?
