Medical Director of BodyLogicMD of Sacramento, Dr. Bob Ghelfi discusses how to curb unhealthy cravings

A lot of times, when you’re craving a food, what you’re craving is actually something you’re allergic to, or that’s causing you problems. What I’ve found is that most people like that have to have a white-black thing. You have to be off it completely — it’s not something that you can just have once in a while.

But, if you can just stay off it for a while, there’s a good chance that your cravings go away and you can stay off it forever. So, we often just eliminate it for a while — for at least a month — and, for a lot of people, once you get off it for a while, you feel a lot better. And then you’re a lot less likely to go back to eating it.
